i scanned some of the other reviews and there is a lot of product information available on this page, so i will try not to be redundant to what is already been said/listed here.

i was a sidekick user for years (sk 2 and sk 3), but displeased with a lot of aspects. so i switched to blackberry. well, having lost my blackberry, for whatever reason, i took a look at the sidekick 08.

a lot of my complaints/issues with previous sidekicks have been fixed. the size and thinness (and related to that the ergonomics, at least for me, the way it fits in my hands) is a vast improvement. the browser seems to be improved over past versions, though it is not 3G, it does operate on the same data network that the sk3 did, and i’m not sure if it’s the browser or the network that has improved, but the speed and overall quality (pulling up webpages like myspace used to be a nightmare) has improved. (these are just a few of many improvements, i’m trying not to make this into a laundry list.)

Pantech Matrix C740 Phone (AT&T) Review

We both prefer this phone over the Samsung Blackjack. It is easy to use, I love the slider option for texting and surfing and that the screen is bigger than what I’m used to. I also like that I have the vertical slider option for a regular phone pad.

We have not had any problems with the sliders coming lose and we are both rough on phones. I believe the issue was fixed before we purchased. Please keep this in mind when reading older reviews.

The speed of this phone when surfing is quicker than the Blackjack. The camera is also better than what I was used to. Although I cannot zoom when taking the actual picture, there is a zoom feature when looking at the photo. Sending pictures is a snap.

Pros:
BROWSER! Awesome, quick, faster than my friends’ blackberry 8900 when performing the same search.
Touchscreen. I had a Samsung Behold for two days before I returned it and went for the G1. The G1 screen is SO much more responsive and so easy to use. Scroll Ball. SOOOO much better than my Curve’s scroll bar. And it doesn’t get dirty so easily.

The Balance of Communication Concept

Author: admin  //  Category: NEW TECH

The Balance of Communication concept was developed with ergonomics in mind. A shape which fits in hand well is coupled with a new weight distribution of the components. The heavy parts are located on the bottom part of the phone, leaving the top with only a very thin and light display. The keypad is big for the ease of use - many people are frustrated by the small keypads on current phones. The design tries to eliminate the sealed case look by using an exoskeleton as a feature. The strong side beams are the structurally supportive elements of the design, giving the aesthetics a visual flow, and communicating the idea of ergonomics.

Tower Cooler Master HAF 932

Author: admin  //  Category: NEW TECH

Cooler Master recently sent us a new full tower chassis to evaluate named the HAF 932. Interesting name, huh? It’s not the catchiest one we’ve ever heard, but most case names don’t make much sense to begin with, at least not at first glance. In this case (no pun intended), HAF stands for High Air Flow. When you have a big, full tower chassis like the HAF 932, you can include some big fans, and that is just what Cooler Master decided to do. The HAF 932 is outfitted with a front 230mm red LED fan, a side 230mm fan, a top 230mm fan, and a rear 140mm fan. If you know anything about fans, then you know this is going to push a lot of air over the system components that reside within the case. We’ve had the case for a while, and we are still impressed by the fan layout.

Well, that’s a really wordy way of saying that this is a big, sturdy case with more cooling potential than your average full tower case. It’s quite obvious as well from that description that Cooler Master is aiming at enthusiasts with this offering. We know full tower cases aren’t for everyone, but for those of you wanting a lot of flexibility for motherboards and other components, they are worth your consideration. Follow along in this article as we take a tour of the HAF 932 to determine if it is worthy of housing your precious PC parts.

SmartBook : The New Mobility Computing Device

Author: admin  //  Category: NEW TECH

SmartBook the new mobility computing device designed by Roland Cernat is definitely a multi tasking instrument to the core. At the first look it looks like any laptop but on closer look one can see that it surely can be used more than just a laptop. On the back of the screen is the digital writing pad on which one can just scribble with the digital pen which is kept under the keyboard. The good thing about this device is that it can be customized or adapted as per individual and their abilities, a multi-functional computing device.
