Pros -
- Great Looker, cant think of a better looking candy bar phone out there.
- You cant stop playing with this beauty.
- Touch screen is super sensitive, making the investment in touch screen experience worth it.
- This is a good choice if you want to be different from the iphone crowd and also want to make a statement. (Iphone is too big for me, this is perfect length.)
- Has a great battery Life. Easy to Navigate. Decent camera and video in bright lighting, FM radio, MP3 player, bluetooth music headset support, Micro SD card slot, 256 mb card included, speaker phone.
- It is slightly slimmer and classier than the LG VU or other similar LG US models.

The law in California is about to change. Begining next month its going to be illegal to use a cell phone in the car, unless its hands free. Otherwise I’d never have bought this, or any other headset. In principle I don’t like the idea of using a phone when driving - its just too distracting. So, I generally only use the phone to say ‘I’m stuck in traffic, gonna be late…bye’. So, I’d hate to use my phone without a headset and end up getting a ticket for that!
Needless to day, I therefore don’t have experience of any more that a couple of other headsets.

Here is an honest review for those who are looking for a good headset. I purchased the Plantronic Voyager 510 over two years ago to go with my Katana phone. The problem I was having with the 510 was that the signal would drop a lot, so much that I called Plantronic and they told me that the Katana was not compatible with the 510. However, they’re customer service was excellent. They told me that cell phones control headset, headsets don’t control phones. Cell phones send out signals and headsets pick up the signal. But to make sure I didn’t have a defected headset, they sent me a new 510 hoping that will solve the problem. However it didn’t. So I was convinced that it was the headset, not my Katana.

It takes a little getting use to but once you do the voice commands and all the helpful voice prompts make it so much more user friendly and accessible. It walks you through the pairing process by talking to you, then you can just say “Teach Me” a few times and it lets you practice the commands. They start to stick after 3 or 4 times of this. You can always ask it “What Can I Say” if you forget. You can do this all while driving, nothing you have to read and memorize the user guide for. Recognition accuracy seems good if you use the commands it asks you to use. Doesn’t seem to work if you say “Battery” instead of “Check Battery”

After using the Jawbone for several months all I can say is I completely regret ever buying it. The sound quality is good, but nothing particularly special either despite all of their claims. The sound quality is a bit better than my previous $50 Motorola bluetooth headset.
The main problem with the Jawbone, as many others have said, is the terrible fit. I typically wear the Jawbone for both legs of a 30 minute commute to work and at least half the time the Jawbone begins falling out of my ear requiring constant adjustment. When talking I usually have to hold the Jawbone into my ear with one hand so it works properly. Kinda defeats the purpose of a wireless headset.I’ve tried various combinations of the included earpieces and ear loops with no luck in finding a good fit.
Not recommended.

I agree with most that the sound quality (hearing and being heard) is excellent. That was the number one criteria for me and nothing else was that important. Any “extra” benefits would just be gravy. While my Virgin Mobile cell phone is not listed on the compatibility lists of Motorola and LG (the cell phone manufacturer), I had no problem pairing the headset and cell phone on the first try. My cell phone has a voice dialing feature and this Bluetooth headset allows for voice dialing (flawlessly).

Pros:
Looks - The Plantronics 925 is a very attractive headset. It doesn’t have the goofy, bulky, flashy “star trek” look that a lot of headsets do. The smooth, attractive lines, and the thin mouthpiece are very low key and elegant. The headset also comes in 3 colors: standard black, fashionable gold, and feminine cerise.
