Motorola T305 Bluetooth Portable Hands-Free Speaker Review

As much as I wanted to like the Motorola T305, in the end couldn’t live with its shortcomings. First of all, the good news: it actually works well enough and the sound is highly legible and the volume is very good. It paired easily with my LG enV. The phone’s voice prompts were scratchy and hard to understand, but they’re like that on speakerphone, so it’s not the T305’s fault. Once you make a connection, the other party sounds fine. And they can hear you fine, too. But that’s where the party ends.

Your first problem will be charging your new toy. Guess what? It can only be charged in your car (no a.c. adapter is included.) It needs two hours for a full charge. My car shuts off power to my car’s power adapter (aka cigarette lighter) when I turn off the car, so even if I were inclined to leave it plugged in for two hours, I would need to leave the car turned to “accessory on” to charge it — and that could be a battery killer. You can buy an a.c. to 12 volt adapter at Radio Shack, but you shouldn’t have to. And the manual warns you not to charge it while it’s on your visor, so it becomes less functional while you drive around for two hours charging it? Huh? It will use a Motorola a.c. adapter if you have one for your Razr, etc., but otherwise, you’ll have my problem.

I will start this review off by saying the the MotoZINE is really kind of a cool phone. It has a certain “wow” factor. The 5 megapixel camera is great, it’s actually a better camera then most 5 mp standalone digital cameras. It’s a beautiful phone too, and has quite a few cool features.

Motorola RAZR2 V8 Unlocked Cell Phone Review

Some people need to learn to read the review on the website they’re buying their products from. Apparently a few reviewers went to the Motorola website and just assumed that everything listed on the spec page would be included with the phone sold from this site.

The review clearly states it comes with 512MB of NON-upgradable memory. It clearly states there is NO SD or MicroSD expansion slot. It doesn’t mention a touchscreen. This phone does everything the review states. It’s over $80 less than one bought directly from Motorola and you’d think people would understand why that is.

We buy these phones because we don’t want to be tied to long-term contracts. This in turn means some of the phones more advanced or even desirable features will be missing. The phone is capable of 2GB of storage, but only if you buy one directly from a carrier like AT&T. The benefits of doing so include getting more memory and few extra features, the drawback is you will be tied to a 2 or 3 year contract, with the full price of the phone (usually inflated to several times the actual retail cost) due if you decide to break it.

NEW Motorola Standard Capacity Lithium-Ion Battery 780 mAh for Motorola RAZR V3,V3a, V3C, V3M Cell Phone Models

Recent purchase of NEW Motorola Standard Capacity Lithium-Ion Battery 780 mAh (Factory Original Battery, Designed And Built Specifically For The Motorola RAZR V3,V3a, V3C, V3M Cell Phone Models) was satisfactory. As soon as I got the battery, I charged it for 25hrs approx. with cell turned off all the time. It’s been giving me around 2-2.5 hrs talk time continuously after a full charge (Experimented) and more than 12 hrs. (18 hrs. approx.) without talk but cell flipped open sometimes for viewing time. Last battery would last for poor 4 hrs or even less, so I am comparatively satisfied. My friend got current Sony Mobile which would give him more than 5 hrs talk time continuuously, that pisses me off in a way. But, hey, 2-2.5hrs straight talk time and 18 hrs of single charged life is all you can expect from Motorola after all.

(AT&T) Samsung Rugby A837 Phone Review

My 2 year old motorola beats this thing hands down. Rugbys texting really really sucks, not user friendly very slow no auto complete as my old motorola had. It also has about half of the battery life of the old Motorola.

Oh ya while we are at it all of you ptt engineers out there fix the software so the ptt can be locked out! This does not take a genius to figure out that people want this option “my motorola sucked in this dept as well”.

As for a working mans phone why the heck isn’t the clock visible on the face when the phone is closed? Working guys don’t want to open up the phone to see what time it is!

LG Shine (Unlocked) Black-Label Series KE970 Shining cellPhone silver review

Bought this camera for my wife as a surprise upgrade from her Motorola C139 - what a big mistake! While the Shine is very good looking, the metal casing makes the phone much more heavy (good thing for some)and thicker than shown on the ads.

what is truly bad with this phone is the poor software which has several layers to get what you want. For example you can’t get to your telephone directory list w/o doing a search for by name. On the C139, you simply press the “up” or “down” arrow, and you are taken directly to your directory list.

Review for Motorola Mini USB Travel Charger for Motorola cellPhones

As an earlier review noted, plug in this charger and nothing happens. My Motorola RAZR doesn’t even see it. I ordered two; neither would charge my phone. (One of them rattled; something loose inside.) Contrary to what another review said, this charger is *not* the same as the one that came with my phone; though similar, it is not the same, and it has a different model number (see the label on the charger itself). I also ordered a car charger but I’m not going to risk using it on my phone. Did I return these items? No, I just threw them away, because at these prices, with shipping and handling both ways *not* refunded, I’d probably lose even more money returning them. (Too bad we can’t give a “0 star” rating.)
